Game capture and translocation requires a strong blend of knowledge, experience, commitment, specialised equipment and dedicated staff. Zvaka-naka Wild Vets provides capture and translocation services for a wide range of African wildlife species either as a stand-alone service-provider or in conjunction with other reputable capture operators.

  • Specialised selective chemical capture & translocation of individual animals particularly of high-value, rare species such as Black & White Rhino, Sable, Roan, Buffalo, Elephant, carnivores, etc.
  • Mass capture of antelope in capture bomas.
  • Capture and translocation of entire family groups of elephant- this is very specialised work both in respect of the equipment required and the knowledge of elephant behaviour and anaesthesia.
  • Capture and translocation of large elephant bulls- like capture of elephant family groups- is specialised work but requires even more specialised equipment to handle massive bulls.

The capture teams in our partnership have been operating for >15 years and move between 10,000 and 15,000 animals annually.

Our extensive client list enables us to assist clients to source either animals to purchase or buyers for surplus animals.
